this place needs me.

chicago - sufjan stevens

i am in love with chicago. when i was a sophomore in high school this family moved in across the street from my family. the wifes name was paula and she was from chicago. its funny because she used to tell all about it and i always thought it would be a nice place to visit.

well it would happen that i was to win a spot to FBLA nationals and what do you know it was in Chicago. well as soon as we got into the city i knew that place needed me and i it. theres so much to love. beautiful architecture, diversity, beautiful weather (they have season, real ones!), chicago dogs, museums, art galleries....you name it and they have it. one day i'm going to live there. its fait because Chicago is one of the few cities in the united states that offers a masters in my degree program. who wouldda thought that?

at the end of the month i'll be back in Chicago right where i belong. i cant wait...
